Charlie Kirk's Accused Killer Allowed to Wear Street Clothes in Court
A judge has ruled that Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk, will be allowed to wear street clothes during his trial.
However, the 22-year-old must be physically restrained, as decided by Judge Tony Graf during a virtual court hearing on Monday.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in September.
Robinson surrendered to police after a 33-hour manhunt and has been charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and other crimes.
Prosecutors, led by Utah County attorney Jeff Gray, will seek the death penalty in this case.
