Topher Campbell's Tate Commission at Risk of Destruction
A sculpture by artist Topher Campbell, commissioned by Tate Modern, faces destruction if a new home is not found by the end of October.
My Body Is An Archive, a large sculpture made from polished mahogany and collage, was part of the show My ruckus at Tate Modern earlier this year.
- The sculpture was given a temporary home at Birmingham Museums Trust (BMT) after the installation closed in January 2025.
- Campbell is "enormously grateful" to BMT staff for housing the sculpture, which is the size of a small car and weighs over a ton.
