A Palestinian man was injured on Wednesday after being attacked by colonists in the lands of al-Sawiya village, south of Nablus.
According to the head of the village council, Mahmoud Hassan, colonists attacked farmers and participants in an olive harvest activity, resulting in injuries to Nihad Abu Arar, the deputy head of the village council.
“Abu Arar was taken to the hospital after falling in very rugged terrain. This occurred after the Israeli police arrived and directed us to take a rough path, when a group of armed settlers accompanied by dogs attacked us.”
Nihad Abu Arar suffered fractures and bruises after being assaulted and pushed by the settlers.
