India opener Rohit Sharma has achieved the top ODI batter ranking for the first time in his career, making history as the oldest batter to claim the No. 1 spot at 38 years old.
Rohit's rise to the top spot came after his unbeaten century (121 not out) in the third ODI between India and Australia in Sydney, leading his side to a nine-wicket win.
