Adairsville Council Hearing
The Adairsville City Council held a meeting on October 23, where they heard a request for water service from a resident of Howell Bend Road and approved the initial step for a potential annexation.
Tom and Natasha Johnson addressed the council, requesting to be added to the city water system after being denied previously.
"I'm a little flabbergasted by that,"Johnson said, explaining that their house, located near the middle school, had burned down in March.
The council also considered an annexation request, with Post 3 City Councilman Lee Castro and Post 4 Councilwoman Brandey Jenkins in attendance.
