Georgia Woman Plotted to Kill Her Husband

A Georgia Army veteran, Kevin Spann, 35, was ambushed and murdered at his front door on May 11, 1997.

His wife, Gina Spann, 31, called 911, reporting, "There's blood everywhere."

"The first shot was fatal, right under the eye," prosecutor Nancy Johnson said. "The second one went into his upper torso, neck and chest area."

Investigation revealed evidence in Gina's vehicle that her husband was worth more to her dead than alive.
