Maria Larson's Mural Depicts Local Identity

A colorful mural, "Sandpoint Now and Then", has been painted on the exterior of Sandpoint Super Drug by local artist Maria Larson and her husband, Lars.
Cars passing by showed appreciation for the artwork, with passengers shouting,
"Thank you!", "It's beautiful!", "We love you!"
The 45-foot wall mural celebrates the town and its natural wonders, a common theme in Maria's paintings, which feature animals, mountains, trees, and open skies.
