Gigi's Pasta in Western Market will start serving build-your-own and signature pasta bowls with house-made sauce next Tuesday after a soft opening on Thursday.
The restaurant, owned by husband and wife team Stephanos and Constandina Andreou, will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Constandina Andreou said the couple chose Western Market for its proximity to GW and the steady foot traffic in the food hall, after plans for a location in Dupont Circle fell through.
Gigi's Pasta takes the place of Bussdown D.C., which closed in December 2024.
According to an application approved in September, the restaurant will officially open on Tuesday.
