Southern Water Lifts Hosepipe Ban
Southern Water has announced the end of the hosepipe ban for! Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
The restriction was put in place in July due to record dry and hot weather. Following wet weather in September and October, the ban was lifted on Friday.
We’re pleased to confirm that from today, Friday 31 October, the hosepipe ban in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight has been lifted.
A day before the lift, the national drought group warned that drought conditions are likely to continue into 2026, urging the public to use water wisely.
