Dame Helen Mirren will be honored with the 2026 Cecil B. DeMille Award, the Golden Globes announced. She will receive the award during the new primetime special Golden Eve, which will also celebrate recipients of the Carol Burnett Award.
Golden Eve will air on CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+. The program will include in-depth interviews and career highlights of the award recipients, recognizing influential figures from both film (DeMille Award) and television (Burnett Award).
For 2025, Viola Davis and Ted Danson were the DeMille and Burnett awardees, respectively.
Helen Mirren's distinguished career features roles in The Queen, The Madness of King George, the Fast & Furious franchise, Gosford Park, Trumbo, and Hitchcock. Her work has earned her numerous honors including an Oscar, five Emmys, SAG, BAFTA, and a Tony Award. She was named a Dame of the British Empire in 2003.
