Hilary Duff has confirmed the release of her new single “Mature,” marking her first new music in ten years. The pop icon shared the news on Monday, November 3, following her recent signing with Atlantic Records.
“So happy this is finally yours to hear,” Duff wrote on Instagram. “Been keeping this one quiet too long. My new single Mature is out Nov 6.”
The track is scheduled to drop on Thursday, November 6. Fans first noticed a countdown on Duff’s official website over the weekend, suggesting an upcoming announcement. On Sunday, November 2, she posted a link to her site via Instagram Stories without revealing any additional details.
In September, Duff confirmed that she was returning to the music scene with Atlantic Records. Alongside new songs, she is also developing a docuseries that chronicles her creative comeback and personal life.
“Embracing the ups, downs and everything in between, fans will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals and preparing to perform on stage for the first time in over a decade,” the official press release said.
