Toronto marks a significant achievement by activating its 500th public electric vehicle (EV) charger, improving access to EV charging for residents and visitors alike.
The Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) and Toronto Hydro energized the 500th charging station at Green P Carpark 504 on Willingdon Blvd. This addition strengthens Canada’s largest municipally owned EV charging network, making electric driving in Toronto more convenient than ever.
Since installing its first EV charger in 2020, Toronto Hydro has been instrumental in the rapid expansion of clean mobility infrastructure. In 2025, it plans to connect over 4,000 EV charging stations across homes and buildings, ensuring reliable power supports the city’s electric future.
