Lindy Waters, an NBA player from Oklahoma, is using his influence to encourage Native students to pursue higher education. Alongside preparing for the new season with the San Antonio Spurs, Waters is involved in a special event to motivate Native youth.

Waters shared about his recent activities, stating:
"I've been busy. Getting ready for the season with the San Antonio Spurs. I had a great camp, had an eye appointment and unfortunately they found a couple of small tears but we got that repaired. Hopefully, can make my return in the next week."
Supporting Native Students
With his foundation, Waters is organizing an event to introduce Native students to the college experience and inspire them to aim for higher education.
"We're trying to be able to use my platform to expose them to higher education... I would want someone with the same stature, or platform to provide that for me if I was younger," Waters said.
