Years after a peaceful alien occupation of Earth, humanity struggles to adapt to a new world order under the oversight of small, coffee table-sized aliens called the Vuvv. These advanced beings introduced technology that promised prosperity but ultimately made most human jobs and steady incomes obsolete.
Seventeen-year-old artist Adam Campbell (Asante Blackk) and his girlfriend Chloe Marsh (Kylie Rogers) learn that the Vuvv are fascinated by human love and are willing to pay for access to it. To earn money for their families, Adam and Chloe decide to livestream their romantic relationship.
For a while, life is good, but as their teenage love fades, they face unexpected and extreme sacrifices to support their families.
"Their flashy advanced technology initially held promise for global prosperity, but rendered most human jobs – and steady income – obsolete."
"They decide to livestream their budding romance to make extra cash for themselves and their families."
Author's summary: This film explores the personal and societal challenges during an alien occupation where human love becomes a commodity amid lost livelihoods.
