Emmy Award-winning actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish invites audiences to experience a more intimate side of her life in her upcoming six-part docuseries Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, premiering exclusively on Peacock on November 13.
The series follows Haddish through a four-week journey across South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania, where she explores themes of growth, vulnerability, and friendship. Essence notes that the project differs from her usual comedic ventures by highlighting emotional depth and the healing strength of sisterhood.
Haddish is accompanied by her longtime friends Selena Martin, Shermona Long, and Sparkle Clark. These women, described as her “day-ones,” share decades of genuine friendship and offer comfort and authenticity throughout the trip.
“I just want to be with people I feel safe with, I don’t have to perform for,” Haddish says in the trailer released by Peacock.
The group ventures through stunning African destinations including Cape Town in South Africa, Victoria Falls and Harare in Zimbabwe, and Zanzibar in Tanzania. Their experiences blend thrilling adventures such as bungee jumping with deeper engagements like visiting wildlife sanctuaries and learning about local culture.
