There are no hard feelings between comedian Alan Carr and singer Paloma Faith. The Celebrity Traitors winner made a playful comment about being the father of Faith’s unborn child after “murdering” her on the show.
Faith announced last month that she is expecting her third baby. Carr, who emerged victorious in the gripping final of the reality series, had eliminated Faith in the very first round of the season.
Appearing on the official Celebrity Traitors podcast Uncloaked, Carr reflected on the moment he had to turn against his friend.
“It was so awful, it really hurt,”
he admitted, before addressing the singer directly,
“I am so sorry, you know I am.”
He then joked with his usual wit:
“I want to tell everyone that I am the father of her unborn child. We had a make up hug and one thing led to another.”
Faith, who was in the audience during the podcast taping, laughed off the joke and joined in on the banter.
“I have been known to turn people and it was an enjoyable experience for both of us,”
she said, confirming there were no bad feelings between them.
Reflecting on the competition, Faith added:
“Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions, I feel like the reason Alan won and I was so sad was we all love him so much.”
Alan Carr humorously claimed to be the father of Paloma Faith’s unborn baby after “murdering” her in Celebrity Traitors, proving their friendship remains full of affection and laughter.
