“The Ministry of Public Works and Environment is advising that household waste will not be collected on the Remembrance Day holiday, Tuesday, November 11. Instead, Tuesday’s waste will be collected on Wednesday, starting a ‘roll-over’ collection schedule, finishing with Friday’s waste being collected on Saturday.”
This week is a recycling collection week; recycling pick-up days remain the same with west end collections on Thursday and east end collections on Friday.
“Household waste and recycling may also be delivered to the Tynes Bay Public Drop-Off, which will be open on Tuesday, 11 November, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, reverting to the regularly scheduled opening hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm every day afterwards.”
