Remembrance Day Holiday City Schedule — Tuesday, November 11, 2025
Due to the Remembrance Day holiday on Tuesday, November 11, all City offices and facilities will be closed. Residents can still reach the City 24 hours a day, seven days a week by email at [email protected], by phone at 311 or 754-CITY (2489), or by submitting a request online at StJohns.ca/Access.
Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony
The Royal Canadian Legion Newfoundland and Labrador will hold the Remembrance Day parade and ceremony on Tuesday, November 11. The parade begins at the Sergeants’ Memorial on Queen’s Road at 10:10 a.m., proceeds to the National War Memorial by about 10:45 a.m., and the ceremony starts at 10:55 a.m.

Road closures and parking restrictions to support the Remembrance Day events will be posted on the City’s website.
