Power was restored to nearly 600 customers in Toronto's Moss Park area more than a day after the outage began at 8:11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Toronto Hydro reported the outage stemmed from an underground cable fault believed to be caused by a third-party digging at an active construction site nearby.
“This work is unrelated to Toronto Hydro but appears to have damaged our infrastructure.”
