Rapper Young Bleed passed away at the age of 51, confirmed by his eldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton, in an emotional Instagram post on Monday.
“Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Young bleed! Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u.”
Clifton expressed his gratitude that his father “went out in style,” accompanied by broken heart and fire emojis, and added, “One time fa the one time.” He posted a video revealing that Young Bleed “gained his wings” on Saturday, November 2.
The son also addressed rumors and misinformation about the rapper’s death, clarifying some confusion around his father’s age and health prior to the incident.
According to Clifton, Young Bleed had no serious underlying health conditions. However, after attending an afterparty following the CashMoney vs. NoLimit Verzuz concert at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, his blood pressure spiked.
Clifton described the event as “more of a natural thing that happened,” explaining that the rapper collapsed and suffered a brain aneurysm caused by internal bleeding. Young Bleed was placed on a ventilator and spent a week in the ICU before passing away.
Young Bleed, a beloved No Limit rapper, died at 51 after a brain aneurysm during an afterparty, leaving behind a legacy his son vows to carry forward.
