Zarine Khan, wife of veteran actor Sanjay Khan, passed away in Mumbai at the age of 81 after suffering from age-related health issues. She is survived by her husband, 85-year-old Sanjay Khan, and their four children — Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and Zayed Khan.
Zarine had been unwell for some time, according to friends and family. Before her marriage, she worked as a model and actor under the name Zarine Katrak and appeared in Bollywood films such as Tere Ghar Ke Saamne and Ek Phool Do Mali. Audiences remember her for the role of Dev Anand’s secretary in Tere Ghar Ke Saamne.
After leaving the film industry, Zarine built a respected career as an interior designer. Her creativity extended to cooking as well — she wrote a popular cookbook titled Family Secret.
