Queensland Weather Outlook

In eastern Queensland, expect milder-than-average conditions, with cooler temperatures further inland. Coastal areas will see fairly settled weather, with only a few showers around the north-east tropical coast.

Showers and storms are arriving from the west linked to a low-pressure trough, affecting the far north-west, central regions, and southern inland areas. Parts of the southern Darling Downs and Granite Belt may experience severe storms.

Moderate rainfall is likely in the southern inland and far north-west. These storms could reach the south-east coast late Saturday evening or overnight into Sunday morning.

New South Wales Weather Outlook

A cold front will pass through central and eastern New South Wales, bringing a strong southerly wind change. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will occur across most eastern parts, especially along the north-east and east central coast.
