On the November 10 episode of The Voice, Rob Cole and Marty O'Reilly competed in the Knockouts, leaving coach Michael Bublé with a difficult choice on who to send home from Team Bublé.
Rob Cole performed the song "Wondering Why," showcasing his piano skills and vocal range. Marty O'Reilly took the stage with "The Letter," delivering a captivating and emotional performance.
"I'll be damned! Man, the way you sing, the way you howl and growl, that ain't nothing but the dog in you. You were that good," said coach Snoop Dogg, 53.
"Brother Rob Cole, the way you started on that piano and then you stood up and went to a whole other level like, that's super star. But to me, I'd go with the dog," Snoop Dogg added.
Coach Niall Horan praised Cole's piano playing and storytelling, calling it impressive. He also described O'Reilly's performance as "so captivating to watch" and expressed the tough decision to eliminate one.
"Both of these still deserve to be here and it's sad but someone actually has to leave here right now," said Horan.
Coach Reba McEntire complimented both contestants, particularly noting Cole’s piano playing and O'Reilly’s connection to the song choice.
"I loved you singing a Joe Cocker song. You channeled a little bit of Joe here tonight. Fantastic," McEntire said to O'Reilly.
