Eugene Levy concluded the third season of his Apple TV+ travel series The Reluctant Traveler by spending time with British Columbia’s beloved singing star, Michael Bublé. After globe-trotting through Austria, England, India, Ireland, Mexico, South Korea, and the U.S., Levy, known for Schitt’s Creek and Second City roots, finished the season exploring the Vancouver area.
The Hamilton, Ontario native, who hadn’t visited Vancouver in 25 years, embraced the role of travel guide. He strolled the seawall in the rain, then visited Granville Island's vibrant public market, asking shopkeepers about what makes the area special.
Levy, featured in the documentary You Had to Be There about the 1972 Toronto production of Godspell, stayed in a charming oceanfront house in West Vancouver.
“One great thing about Vancouver is bad weather rarely hangs around,” said Levy while enjoying a glass of red wine on the deck.
