LEGO Launches Large USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D Set
Danish toy maker LEGO announced its inaugural Star Trek set, the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from the Icons series, inspired by "The Next Generation."
Iconic Starship and Its Legacy
The Enterprise NCC-1701-D is the fifth Federation starship to bear the name—sixth if counting the NX-01 from the "Enterprise" prequel—and it served under Captain Jean-Luc Picard in "The Next Generation" series. This Galaxy-class vessel was ultimately destroyed in the film "Star Trek: Generations."
LEGO Set Details
- The set is a detailed plastic brick replica of the flagship vessel and includes figures of the beloved crew.
- It consists of 3,600 pieces that assemble into a model over 10.5 inches (27 cm) tall, 23.5 inches (60 cm) long, and 18.5 inches (48 cm) wide.
- A display stand is included in the package to showcase the model.
- Though designed for display, the model can be partially disassembled to enable imaginative play, suitable for adult fans.

The set was developed in collaboration with Paramount Products & Experiences and marks a long-awaited addition to LEGO’s collection for Star Trek enthusiasts.
