Riley Keough Says She's Felt Mom Lisa Marie Presley Since Cowriting Her Memoir: 'Too Weird Not to Be Something' (Exclusive)

Riley Keough Feels Presence of Late Mother Lisa Marie Presley

Riley Keough said she believes her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, has sent her signs showing that she was at peace with how her memoir From Here to the Great Unknown was completed. Keough finished the book after her mother’s death in 2023 by listening to tapes of Lisa Marie’s recorded memories.

Connection After Loss

The Daisy Jones & The Six actress, 36, shared that she still feels deeply connected to her mother’s spirit. Speaking at the Academy x Chanel Women’s Luncheon on November 5, Keough said:

“I think if you're open to those things, they're kind of everywhere. I really do believe that.”

She added,

“So, I certainly feel connected to whatever that world may be. I do feel connected to it, yeah. There are certainly moments that are very... too weird to not be something.”

Upcoming Afterword

While Keough did not elaborate further on the experiences where she felt her mother’s presence, she plans to share more in a heartfelt afterword included in the paperback edition of the memoir, which will be released on November 11 by Penguin Random House.
