Whitby Town Seek Yorkshire Derby Victory

The Blues will host West Yorkshire side Guiseley at the Towbar Express Stadium on Saturday. Guiseley appointed Ian Richards, formerly of rivals Stocksbridge Park Steels, as their new manager. Despite this change, Guiseley has yet to claim a win under Richards' leadership.

Jake Charles Anticipates a Tough Match

Blues striker and former Guiseley player Jake Charles expects a challenging game:

"It's going to be a tough test on Saturday, especially with them having the new manager in. They've got a good squad as it is and I'm sure they're expecting not to be at the end of the table, where they are at the minute. So they'll be looking to try and get a result, but it's our job to make it difficult for them, and obviously we're in good form at home as well."

"He [Richards] did a good job down at Stocksbridge and, and I think that's obviously what Guiseley have seen, the job that he's done and brought him in. And he's got a good squad there at Guiseley, I know a couple of their lads, and they're obviously not happy where they are on the table. We need to try and keep them at bay on Saturday, stick to what we're good at and go from there."
