Luke Gilmore scored twice to lead second-seeded Cherokee to a 4-0 win over 15th-seeded Pennsauken in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 playoffs held in Marlton.
The Chiefs, now holding an 11-5-2 record, will host their Olympic American rival Eastern, seeded seventh, in the quarterfinals.
- Noli Murtaj and Vivan Chartrath also contributed goals for Cherokee.
- Cole Butler and the Cherokee defense prevented Pennsauken from scoring.
- Pennsauken finishes their season with a 7-12 record.
