Hayley Williams has returned with a fresh single titled “Showbiz,” coinciding with the long-awaited physical release of her album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
About the Song
“Showbiz” features crisp drums, a vocoder-enhanced chorus, and shimmering synths, presenting a romantic indie pop sound. The production, handled by Williams and collaborator Daniel James, evokes the smooth, syncopated grooves reminiscent of the band Phoenix. Notably, Williams sampled Phoenix’s 2017 track “Fior di Latte” on her recent song “Love Me Different.”

While no formal tour has been announced yet for Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, Williams dropped hints suggesting a world tour might be in the works.
