During her concert at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, Rico Nasty surprised fans by inviting Hayley Williams to join her on stage. The two artists performed Rico’s 2020 hit “Smack a Bitch” from her debut album Nightmare Vacation.
As they shared the stage, singing and dancing together, the crowd erupted in excitement. When the song ended, the pair embraced to loud cheers.
“You guys had no idea!”
Rico told the audience as Williams waved goodbye.
The Fonda Theatre show concluded Rico’s Lethal North American tour, which began in September with a performance at Riot Fest. The tour promoted her latest album, Lethal, released in May — her third full-length record and first with Fueled by Ramen.
This wasn’t the first time the two performers shared a stage. In 2023, Rico joined Paramore during their headlining concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles to perform the band’s hit single “Misery Business.”
“It was an amazing experience. And it felt like, I don’t know, my inner child really jumped out. And I hadn’t seen her in a while. Like I hadn’t seen her in a while on stage. I hadn’t seen her in a while backstage, like amongst the team like that. So I was like, ‘Wow, like this feels nice.’ And then I got to talk to Hayley.”
Rico later shared this reflection with Billboard, describing how meaningful the collaboration had been for her both personally and artistically.
Hayley Williams and Rico Nasty reunited on stage in Los Angeles for a lively performance that celebrated their shared energy and artistic friendship.
