Sky Is Not the Limit for 86-Year-Old Woman Preparing for Milestone Jump in Florida

Kim Knor, an 86-year-old woman, has just completed her 999th skydive and is preparing for her 1,000th jump this November.

A Lifelong Passion for Skydiving

Kim began skydiving at age 18 in 1959 by forging her parents' signature to undertake her first jump. She took a break from the sport in 1967 to raise her family but returned in 2003 with a renewed goal to reach 1,000 jumps.

Upcoming Milestone and Recognition

Her milestone jump is planned in Lake Wales, Florida. Upon completion, Kim will receive the United States Parachute Association Gold Wings.
