LoL Esports 2025 World Championship Opening Ceremony
The 2025 League of Legends World Championship Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard™, will be held on November 8 at 11 p.m. GMT at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Indoor Gymnasium in Chengdu. This event launches the biggest esports tournament of the year with a global lineup of performances.
Creative Collaboration and Performances
This year's ceremony features a unique visual and audio spectacle created in partnership with DJ and producer Anyma, who joins Riot Games as a creative collaborator for ACT III. The show integrates technology, art, and storytelling, highlighted by the voices of celebrated artists:
- G.E.M., renowned Chinese pop singer
- Chrissy Costanza, powerful vocalist and longtime League of Legends collaborator
- TEYA, Austrian singer and songwriter
Together, they will celebrate 15 years of LoL Esports in an unforgettable production.
About G.E.M.
Born in Shanghai in 1991 and raised in Hong Kong from age four, G.E.M. is a multi-talented Chinese pop singer, songwriter, producer, and screenwriter. She has released over 120 original songs, including the hit Light Years Away, which holds the Guinness World Record for most views on a Chinese music video.
In 2022, she released her fully original album Revelation and created a 14-episode music series to accompany it.
