Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet, will launch its first international campus in Dubai Sports City in August 2026. This new branch brings over 450 years of British educational tradition to the UAE, following the National Curriculum for England and maintaining the high standards that earned the Barnet school its consistent “outstanding” rating.
The project, developed in collaboration with GEDU Global Education, recently received initial approval from Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). This marks the first time a UK state grammar school establishes an international campus.
“This landmark approval allows us to accelerate our vision to deliver world-leading K-12 education to students from across the UAE,” said Caroline Pendleton-Nash, CEO of Queen Elizabeth’s Global Schools.
The Dubai branch will uphold the mission, ethos, and rigorous academic standards of the original school while embracing Dubai’s innovative and ambitious environment.
“In uniting the heritage of one of the UK’s most distinguished schools with the vision of Dubai, we aspire to set a new global benchmark for educational excellence.”
