Major U.S. airlines are offering more flexible options for passengers facing delays or cancellations amid newly introduced FAA travel restrictions. These measures will expand through the weekend.
The Massachusetts Port Authority announced that Boston’s Logan Airport is among 40 U.S. airports expected to see a temporary reduction in flights to ensure national airspace safety.
“We’re awaiting FAA updates on which flights will be affected, though some delays were already reported Thursday evening,” said a Massport spokesperson.
The FAA advised travelers to monitor their flight status closely before heading to the airport, anticipating both delays and cancellations.
Authorities recommend passengers check real-time updates before traveling. You can stream NBC10 Boston news live for current information.
