Six people were shot and one man was killed in three separate violent incidents across New York City on Sunday night, according to police.
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to a 911 call in a building between East 142nd Street and East 143rd Street on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven. Officers found three male victims, including a teenager, who had been shot.
All three were transported to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
About 20 minutes before the Bronx shooting, officers responded to a call about multiple people shot inside a home on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Street in Whitestone.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital and remain in stable condition. Police recovered a firearm at the scene and continue their investigation.
