Jetstar’s new Bali service marks its first international route from Melbourne Avalon, a significant milestone for the airline and the airport. To celebrate, Jetstar is offering a 48-hour sale on all Avalon routes starting midday today, with domestic fares from $29 and Bali fares beginning at $199.
Beginning 23 March 2026, Jetstar will operate five weekly return flights from Melbourne Avalon to Bali (Denpasar) using modern Airbus A321LR aircraft, providing over 120,000 seats annually. The direct flight takes just over six hours, offering a convenient travel option for passengers from Melbourne, Geelong, the Surf Coast, and Bellarine Peninsula to explore Bali’s beaches and culture.
