India A reached the semi-final of the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament after a 6-wicket win on Tuesday (November 18). The team defeated Oman-A by 6 wickets in the match played in Doha. Harsh Dubey scored an unbeaten fifty and also took one wicket.

India A reached the semi-final by winning their second match in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament. India-A captain Jitesh Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl. Batting first, Oman scored 135 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Waseem Ali played an unbeaten innings of 54 runs for the team. Gurjapneet Singh and Suyash Sharma took 2 wickets each for India.

Chasing a target of 136 runs, India-A achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 17.5 overs. Harsh Dubey scored an unbeaten 53 runs for the team. The openers of the Oman team, batting first, put on a 37-run partnership for the first wicket in 4 overs. Captain Hammad Mirza was out after scoring 32 runs off 16 balls. He also hit 3 fours and 2 sixes in his innings at a strike rate of 200. Hammad was caught by Ashutosh Sharma off the bowling of Vijaykumar Vyshak. Karan Sonawale was out after scoring 12 runs off 19 balls. He was dismissed LBW by leg-spinner Suyash Sharma. Narayan Saishiv returned to the pavilion after scoring 16 runs off 14 balls. He was caught by Nehal Wadhera off Naman Dhir.
