Royal Mail announced that several regions across the UK are facing delivery delays due to local operational challenges. The postal service confirmed that mail destined for certain postcodes may not arrive on schedule.
According to the company, the disruptions are being caused by factors such as staff absences, vehicle breakdowns, and high seasonal demand. Affected areas include parts of the AL, B, BN, BR, CM, CR, DA, EN, KT, ME, N, NG, RH, RM, SE, SL, SM, SW, TN, TW, UB, and W postcode regions.
A Royal Mail spokesperson stated:
“We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and are working hard to deliver the mail as soon as possible.”
Customers are encouraged to check the Royal Mail service update page regularly for the latest information. Priority will be given to Special Delivery, Tracked 24, and medical or essential correspondence.
“We thank customers for their patience and understanding while we address these issues,” the spokesperson added.
