AMD Updates Policy on Older Radeon Cards
AMD has revised its stance on older Radeon cards, confirming that RX 5000 and RX 6000 graphics cards will continue to receive game optimizations.
Initially, the company had announced that these GPUs would enter "maintenance mode" after the Adrenalin Edition 25.10.2 driver release, with future optimizations focusing on newer RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 cards.
AMD is walking back that idea and acknowledging that there’s still value in optimizing for older GPUs, especially since many are still widely used.
