Grey Wolves Fascists Attack Leftist Students at University in Ankara, Turkey
A group of fascists armed with knives attacked university students in front of the police at Hacettepe University’s Beytepe Campus in Ankara, Turkey.
The masked group, calling themselves the “Hacettepe Grey Wolves Organization,” entered the university with machetes and meat cleavers, injuring at least one student.
The attack occurred amidst student protests against a new “reservation system” introduced in the cafeteria.
The injured student was admitted to Bilkent City Hospital for treatment, but was requested to be taken to the police station despite the attending physician’s decision to keep him under observation.
Additionally, 28 other students who wanted to visit their injured friend at the hospital were detained.
