Apple Updates Apps with Liquid Glass Icons
Apple has updated three of its apps for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe, introducing new Liquid Glass-compatible icons.
- GarageBand: features a realistic-looking guitar icon, replacing the previous silhouetted neon guitar icon.
- Photomator and Pixelmator Pro: also received new Liquid Glass-compatible icons across Apple's platforms.
Additional apps, including iMovie, the App Store,! Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, are expected to receive new Liquid Glass icons, but have not been updated yet.
Apple first showcased the new GarageBand icon on its iPhone tech spec pages after the September iPhone event.
