A Houston mechanic, Jaime Avila, is warning people about the dangers of overfilling their gas tanks.
It costs you a lot of money to repair
Avila explains that when you overfill your tank, the extra fuel doesn't go into the tank, but instead into the charcoal canister.
Avila demonstrated this by showing the undercarriage of a car and an assembly that had been dismounted, where gasoline was dripping out of a pipe.
Author's summary: Overfilling your gas tank can cause damage to your vehicle.
