California Proposition 50
Assemblymember Gregg Hart, co-author of Proposition 50, urges people to vote in the special election.
Hart, along with State Senator Monique Limón, worked to introduce the proposition after Texas added conservative seats to the House of Representatives.
"It is a really important election and I'm glad that we are going to be celebrating soon, the polls are still open, we want people to get out and vote,"
said Hart, who represents the 37th District in Santa Barbara. Proposition 50 authorizes temporary changes to Congressional Districts Maps.
