Edinburgh Trams will honor Remembrance Sunday (9 November) and Armistice Day (11 November) to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in World War I, World War II, and recent conflicts.
To recognize the sacrifices of armed forces members, Edinburgh Trams will offer free travel on both days to veterans and active personnel of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Eligibility requires showing military ID or wearing a uniform.
“Each year I am proud to show our support at Edinburgh Trams on both Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day. As a former veteran myself, and a number of our colleagues being former service men and women, we are passionate about paying tribute to all of those who have paid the ultimate price throughout the years while serving our country.” – Lea Harrison
