The first Lego Star Trek set invites fans to rebuild the legendary U.S.S. Enterprise-D from The Next Generation era. The kit includes 3,600 pieces and represents the NCC-1701-D starship featured in the series (1987–1994) and in the 1994 film Star Trek: Generations.
"This set is a fantastic way to relive the adventures of the crew, piece by piece."
The detailed model will be available in stores and online in November. It's aimed at builders aged 18 and up, though it’s bound to appeal to Star Trek enthusiasts of all ages eager to share the fun with family.
Customers who purchase the set before December 1 will receive a special bonus: a Type 15 Federation shuttlepod named Onizuka. The vehicle honors NASA astronaut Ellison Onizuka, who perished aboard the space shuttle Challenger in 1986.
Lego, together with Paramount Products & Experiences, will host special Black Friday celebrations. In London’s Leicester Square store, fans can meet the set’s designer, Hans Burkhand Schlömer, who will be signing collector kits.
Members of the Lego Insider program can enter a sweepstakes through December 1 for a chance to win a version signed by Jonathan Frakes, the star and director who portrayed Commander William Riker in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
