Woman Dies After Officer-Involved Shooting in Publix Parking Lot
A woman, identified as Stacie Lynn Guerrero, died after being shot by Ocoee police in a Publix parking lot on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the Publix on West Road in Ocoee, where officers had followed a stolen silver SUV driven by Guerrero.
According to officials, Guerrero allegedly continued towards the officers, striking two of them, and one officer discharged their firearm in response, hitting Guerrero.
