KATSEYE Reflects on Grammy Nominations
The international girl group KATSEYE, whose popularity skyrocketed this year, has earned Grammy nominations in two major categories: Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

KATSEYE faces strong competition for Best New Artist, going up against Olivia Dean, The Marías, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young. Last year’s winner, Chappell Roan, announced this year’s nominees during Friday’s Grammy livestream.
Journey from Dream to Global Stage
The group’s rise has been shaped by media exposure, including the Netflix documentary Popstar Academy, which followed their transformation from hopeful trainees to global sensations. KATSEYE was originally formed through the YouTube series Dream Academy, a collaboration between Hybe and Geffen Records aimed at creating the first truly global girl group.
