Actor Chad Michael Murray recently opened up about a personal secret that he had never shared with his wife, Sarah Roemer. Known for his roles in Gilmore Girls and other television hits, Murray discussed family, fatherhood, and his admiration for his single father.
During a recent episode of Cosmopolitan’s Blind Date, Murray, who has three children — a 10-year-old son, an 8-year-old daughter, and a 1-year-old daughter — was asked what his wife doesn’t know about him. The actor gave a candid answer.
“Probably that I secretly want more kids. I think four kids would be awesome. However, it’s probably not a great idea. This last one is really, whoof, she’s a wild card. She’s one … She’s the baby boss.”
In an earlier conversation with The Everygirl, Murray reflected on his views about being a parent, saying that he believes children show people their truest selves.
“Children are the best reflection in the world.”
Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show, Murray shared how deeply his upbringing influenced him. Raised by his father, Rex, along with five siblings, the actor said his father’s devotion left a lasting impression.
“I always told myself if I could be half the man that my dad was then I’m doing alright.”
Through these reflections, Murray revealed a side of himself that values family above all else and aspires to emulate the strength and kindness of his father.
