Remembrance Day 2025 in Ealing

Residents are invited to join traditional Remembrance services across the borough to honor the sacrifice of our armed forces, both past and present.

Event Date and Locations

Remembrance Sunday falls on 9 November. Key events will take place in three main locations on the morning of the day: Southall, Greenford, and Ealing.

Ealing Ceremony

The largest service is held in Ealing, where Councillor Anthony Kelly, the Mayor of Ealing, will participate in a parade and ceremony at the Ealing War Memorial on Ealing Green, near Pitzhanger Manor. A two-minute silence will be observed at 11am.

King’s representative Deputy Lieutenant Richard Kornicki and council leader Peter Mason will also attend the service.

Greenford Service

The Royal British Legion’s local branch will march from its Oldfield Lane South headquarters to the Greenford War Memorial for a public service at 11am.

Southall Remembrance Service

At 10:45am, people will gather at Southall War Memorial on The Green for a service that includes a two-minute silence at 11am. Afterward, attendees are invited to St John’s Church in Church Avenue for a short ceremony and refreshments.
