Actor Jeremy Renner is in the spotlight after Chinese filmmaker and writer Yi Zhou accused him of inappropriate behavior. On November 6, The Daily Mail published an exclusive report detailing the allegations.
Yi Zhou claimed that Renner sent her explicit images. Over recent days, she shared several Instagram posts describing her experience with the actor. Zhou recounted an incident when Renner, after having a drink, became hostile, to the point where she felt compelled to lock herself in the bathroom.
"I had to lock myself in the washroom," Yi Zhou said, describing the escalation of the situation.
The Daily Mail included screenshots of conversations between Zhou and her coworkers. In one message, she expressed fear and asked if she could call someone, suspecting Renner was in a violent mood.
In an Instagram post featuring the word "CANCEL," Zhou detailed the emotional toll the last months had on her.
She wrote about the difficulties she endured and her desire for Renner to change.
Zhou also revealed she tried to address the issue privately by calling Renner and urging him to be more respectful toward her. However, she said this conversation did not go well.
Contradicting the idea that she reached out first, Zhou told The Daily Mail that it was Renner who contacted her initially.
"I did not reach out to Jeremy Renner; it was the other way round," she stated.
Another screenshot showed Zhou calling Renner a "pig" after he allegedly sent inappropriate and explicit photos.
The allegations by Yi Zhou against Jeremy Renner have sparked controversy, highlighting serious accusations of inappropriate conduct that have been publicly shared and documented.
